Shall we take it a step further into the 2nd amendment argument?

This is one of the things I try and tell people that are gun opponents.  Why
are we so literal in our interpretations of the 1st and 5th amendments and
so flexible about the 2nd?

  How much more obvious is it? Given that statement, what laws regarding
  religion can you see that Congress can pass? Only ones that reinforce
  it. Like saying that people can't force you to pray to someone else's
  god.
