Yep. I find that giving people a reminder of proper posting behavior
is better than forcing them. The posts go through, the conversation
goes on, but the behavior is noted for the poster and (hopefully)
corrected.
Think of the recent threads we've had that have gone way past 100
posts. Self trimming helps keep the HoF archives, Google and your own
in box clean.
