space "downtown". I worked out a nice little arrangement with an
accountant that will have me splitting the rent with him, sharing
services like phone and utilities and putting me back in an
environment that will let me "do my own thing" and be productive...
something that is growing increasingly more difficult with a 2 year
old and a pregnant wife in the house.
It's a good arrangement. He does taxes and investment services and
only truly uses the offices during tax time. Otherwise he's in the
space 2-3 days out of the week. I tend to work a morning/afternoon
schedule but need a "hiding place" when I get close to a deadline.
This space will provide both of us what we need. The other good thing
is that it's a 1000 sq. ft. office space with enough room for about 6
desks so it's not like we're hot-racking the desks or anything.
We've got a pretty good copier on lease and I'll be brining in my own
as well, I'm also bringing in space CPU's and other things. I'm
wondering if anyone has found office gadgets/supplies that have made
their lives tons easier or more productive since you got them?
