+1.  I really like NEXTEL.  The're not the cheapest, but far from the
most expensive.  I did have to have a phone replaced because it kept
shutting off automatically, but that wasn't a big deal, really.  The
service has been reliable -- I really only recall 1 night I should have
had service and didn't.  they also sound the next best thing to a landline.
