Wasn't that for last Friday or is there going to be another one?
We had some people over on Friday held a candlelit vigil on the corner of
our block. It was interesting how it turned out as we had 6 different
nationalities and 5 different religions.
I just got a call from my mother back in Ireland who told me that Ireland
came to a virtual standstill on Friday as they held a Day of Mourning. It
was really something all businesses (including the pubs) closed for the day
and services were held all over. The phone companies didn't charge for
calls to the States on Sunday so people could check up on relatives and
friends etc. Quite moving really.
(I also hear that they've started calling Bin Laden "Bin Liner" back home
too.)

I just heard on the radio that the U.S. has asked that everyone step out on
their lawns tonight at 10:30 and light a candle. They will be taking a
satellite picture of the U.S. and posting it on the news tomorrow morning.
