None taken. From the other side of the family I'm a descendant of Montague,
the Earl of Sandwich. The food! The food "runs through my veins like giant
radioactive rubber pants!"* McDonald Clan Ronald is very large, so there
are many Ronald McDonalds in the world. I'm related to several in the city
of Glasgow alone.
And no, there isn't any yellow on our tartan. However, we used to live
next-door to some Campbells. The McDonalds and the Campbells have a
long-running feud, supposedly involving the yellow stripe on the Campbell
tartan, so we used to make lots of yellow stripe jokes. My mother's recipe
box has many recipes named "Yellow Striped" something or other. Yellow
Striped Meatballs, Yellow Striped Cheesecake, Yellow Striped Steak
Marinade. No Yellow Striped Muffins that I know of.... ;)
* I was very disappointed that the new episode of Invader Zim that was to
scheduled air last Friday was replaced by a rerun of the Fairly Oddparents.
I mean, I *needed* new Zim to cheer me up! And I didn't even get a rerun
Zim. *sigh*
