The pops have been playing free public concerts for the 4th of July for 75
years now (well, actually, 75 years next year). It's a great show if you
can put up with the crowds (or you could just watch it live on A&E - they've
been televising it for at least 12 years or so). If you just want to see
the Pops they have a full dress rehearsal on the 3rd and several other free
concerts throughout the summer.
