Actually, these two are possible in a very small, rather unimportant
way. My understanding is that taxes for a married or unionized (what is
the right verb there?) couple tend to be lower than two individuals.
Similarly, if you work for a large corporation, adding more "couples" to
the corporate plan will increase its cost. On the other hand, if I have
to pay another 15 cents a year in taxes, I figure it's worth it.
