Look, Afghanistan is a country with a long, rich history. Many of the people
want to leave, witness the exodus of people to Indonesia and Australia. It
is hard to leave, they are land locked. They kill people summarily who do
not fit in. When Russia attacked, we helped build a force to stop that. That
dog has now turned on it's master and the bite was very hard. The 'people'
of Afghanistan are repressed. No TV's, no radio, no outside news. No
nothing - except a lot of weapons. AK-47s can be had for less than $50.
.. and besides, they are VERY friendly to terrorists.
