Ditch the sugar and the caffeine... Ther are both stimulants and will only
make you more irritable to the pain. If you can do this at work or better
yet if you are at home, go to the store and buy some soaking salts and a
foot massager/washer. Soak your foot in that for 20 minutes then ice it for
20 minutes... Repeat all day... It will feel A LOT BETTER and it will feel
good, taking the queasiness away. Similar thing happened to me years ago
whereby my foot was runover with a Chevy S-10 pikcup... No broken bones, but
crazy swelling and bruising and the pain sucked... Made me squirm in my seat
all day... A co-worker got me to soak and ice and it worked great!
