yeah, it does happen and there have been several stories about this in
the local paper. Also, just last night I saw something on CNN about
some congressman who is concerned about Arabs passing as Hispanics. He
actually struck me as a racist who was looking for reasons to keep
Mexican nationals from getting bank accounts, but I was dozing off and
may have misunderstood him. The point is, to many people, brown is
brown.
