Im reminded of my favorite all time Simpson's moment. In one of their clip shows, Troy Mclure is discussing with the audience the results of the "Who Shot Burns?" episode, and explained that an alternate ending had Smithers as the shooter. He then turns to the camera and says: "But for you to believe that ending, you'd of had to ignore all of that Simpson DNA evidence, and that would be plain nuts!"
All this on the heels of the OJ trial.
Brilliant.
