Nogales. If this is a local paper I might be inclined to give the
story some credence. Don't know the area well enough to say whether it
is or isn't the local paper though....
The Arizona Republic is the Pheonix paper and reasonably mainstream if
conservative I think. But this story, while it is about Al-Qaeda and
Arizona, deals with pre-9/11.
The other site.... dunno. Am skeptical. I lurk on an
immigration-paranoia list and I have been hearing a lot of similar
stuff there....
Bottom line - ? Doesn't seem smart. The Mexican border is much more
patrolled than the Canadian border. But as we said in another threat,
mass murder is not proof of intelligence.
