It was cute when the guy whose wife cheated on him was selling her beanie
baby collection, and maybe even worthy of the media attention because it was
novel. Then the guy who was selling his ex-fiancee's wedding dress.
Cute...but seen it.
Now it's just kind of "think of something a little bit different and put it
on ebay..."
At least with the first few, the motivation seemed legitimate...bitter
people wanting to get back at their exes. Did something new and cute and
the media gave it a nod. Now you just know people are doing it for the
media attention (especially since this guy explicitly stated it)...and it's
just not quite funny anymore.
And yeah, the guy's stuff doesn't look like $40k worth of crap at all.
