I can do the mainstream stuff, but I refuse to wear a suit on a daily
basis. I also keep forgetting to get my hair cut, so it tends to be
all over the place.
As for ferret markings, The American Ferret Association has a good set
of pages about it:
http://www.ferret.org/events/colorchart.htm
Sables are what most people think of when they picture a ferret.
Chocolates (in terms of marking) look fairly similar but are light
brown - Augustus was a good example of that:

(pardon the size)
Albinos are pure white with red eyes.
Dark Eyed Whites are gorgeous, white (or with some black markings) but
with very dark eyes.
Black Roans start out very dark with a white undercoat and then turn white.
You can also have variants - For instance our two new ones are both
Mitts - a Black Roan Mitt and a Chocolate Mitt. They both look like
they have white gloves on their feet.
