Firefox).
The problem was I had named the sheets differently (the past I had accessed
each sheet in the cascade via a separate name - but it seems I should now
use an ID). FireFox then treated them (as it should) as several alternate
sheets not as members of a single cascade.
My only really complaint is that I never noticed the change style-sheet
control in FireFox (which have immediately solved the problem for me once I
saw the list of alternates). The control is in an odd place and isn't
nearly apparent enough (to me). But that's an interface issue (which
FireFox has in spades) - the engine did exactly as it should.
Now it works - and works very well. It's nearly impossible to tell the IE
display from the FireFox display.
Thanks,
Jim Davis

That is not my experience (and I always name stylesheets, it is a
requirement for dynamically swapping them in and out).
