Dick Morris just wrote a column on this subject in the New York Post. He refers to Kerry as a back-bencher.

Besides, this election isn't about Kerry, it's about Bush. 10% of the electorate in 12 states is up for grabs. If those folks think on balance the President has done a decent job, Bush gets re-elected. If they think on balance he has failed, Kerry gets elected. Everyone else has made up their minds already.
