the basics around Israel are and the African ones are easy. The ones
north of Pakistan were the problems.
Just use logic. Lebanon is under Syrian occupation. Syria is in strife
with Turkey and is a location where 'militants' are getting into Iraq.
Iraq is north of Saudi Arabia and Kuwait. It's west of Iran. Pakistan
is on the Afghanistan border as is Iran. Jordan is between Israel and
Iraq. Yemen is at the tip of the gulf as is Oman. Yemen is also
associated with a lot of old time Jews till they were chased out, so
they're on the Israel side of the peninsula. Turkey has had some
fights with Armenia. Azerbaijan is right near Russia so there are only
2 or 3 places it could be (I got an X there).
Just think of the latest news and you get them all right. My big
problem is that I know morocco as morocco, not as divided into western
Sahara. That threw me (but I knew Sudan, Niger, Libya, Algeria,
Tunisia and the most of the rest. Mali, Mauritania threw me as well.

jk, but really, most of those names have changed since i was in high
school, which although it wasnt this century was the last decade in
the last century...
where was bahrain, i couldnt find that one, i know where it is...just
couldnt see where to put it?
