Amusing.

Actually, it was pretty good.  I took my little sister to see it (which
sounds like a good excuse, until you realize that I volunteered) this
weekend, and laughed out loud a number of times.

The best one was when I was the only person in the theater who knew who
Rozencrantz and Guildenstern were.

Yeah, it's cheesy in places.  The plotline, while a decent twist on the
falling-for-the-bad-guy schtick, is fairly predictable.  Don't see it if
you're uncomfortable being the only guy in the room without a young
daughter.

But the acting is OK.  Julie Andrews is a hilarious mix of perfectly
dignified and darn cool, including at least one Mary Poppins reference.
  And Gimli makes a good bad guy.

Fluff, but fun fluff.
