While the quote was attributed to him (see article), this article shows the
whole thing in another light. If this is the BS that the Olymipcs stands for
in peoples minds, then I for one think they're just not worth it. (note the
part about the silence for the Israeli team). Peace? Riiiiight.

Which quotes? The ones that were reported through the Iranian National Press
Agency?

Giving al the different stories that go around about who said what and even
who did what I don't find them very convincing when Iranian sporters have a
history of not competing with Israeli on government orders.
