Good article this afternoon on the New York Times website. The US is finally employing it's superior military equipment to fight Al Sadr's insurgents.

I thought the most interesting part of the article was the quote by the Najaf resident about how most of the fighters were strangers, foreigners to Najaf. "They are even stopping to ask directions on the way out of town"

Feel sorry for the regular citizens of the city, basically being held hostage by these thugs.
