Fond of 80's... Never been a big fan of Poison, Warrant or Skid Row.
Between Bon Jovi and Aerosmith I'll take Bon Jovi. Not that Aerosmith
is bad per se, but after a while they start to sound like AC/DC and
all the songs run together (cause they all sound the same). Heard a
parody of an album commercial for "AC/DC Sings the Best of Show Tunes"
that really drove home that idea of all the songs from a given band
having the same sound. :) I was actually rather fond of a lot of the
one-hit wonders myself... I mention Mister Mister and people say "I'm
so sick of that song" in reference to Broken Wings, but the song I'm
referring to is Kyrie. Aha, Midnight Oil (who're still around but
haven't been popular here since Dead Heart and Beds are Burning), and
my all-time favorite Howard Jones No One Is To Blame. :) Though there
were some good repeaters too... Cindy Lauper, Tears for Fears, Mike
and the Mechanics, Genesis/Phil Collins, Peter Gabriel who again is
still around and doing great stuff but hasn't been popular since the
80's.
