Yes, definitely.  Trucking is the most regulated industry (thats what they say!), and I pretty much have to keep a log book of my hours.  it involves drawing a bunch of lines on different hours and marking what you're doing and where you're at and then counting the bars to add up to all your hours.  you make alot of mistakes and have to use whiteout alot!

I will get plenty of free time, so I will write an app where i just input what i'm doin and stuff and it will "draw" the lines on a duplicate of the graph and add up numbers and what not.  Then I just look at it and copy onto the log book without much thinking haha.  of course, they said that some companies are already doing it the digital way, and chances are my company will get on it as well.  I dunno how it works, whether the DOT have rules and regulations on the logbook apps and how they are supposed to work or not. hmmmmmmm.......  http://www.driversdailylog.com/index.htm
