have access to 200+ albums, it's at least a consideration.
The other option I've heard about, but haven't check out is getting a PIE
adapter. The XMFans site has a ton of forum posts describing setups:

I have a 6CD in dash GM factory unit. I know it has an aux input/button of
some sort, and that's what I really want to plug into...but I haven't dug it
out of the dash yet to set what I can do with it.
