I used to visit Duluth which is a northern MN town at the western tip
of lake superior. We'd drive over to WI at about Midnight as MN bar
close was at 1am.
We get an outdoor picnic table at a bar (Schultz's) that was at the
bottom of the bridge. You'd snuggle in and watch the drunks come down
the bridge to WI for it's 2am bar close.
It was great entertainment! It was interesting how everyone would
weave as a team. If you had a scanner it was even better becase the
cops were watching too, but would only pull over the people really
speeding or crashing into stuff.

Wait - you live in Wisconsin? Where? Must be the southern
border....I'm pretty sure bars close earlier in Minnesota..... Not
that I'd know these things, being pure as the driven Wisconsin snow
and all. (Oh yah, that Wisconsin snow is full of cow shit, isn't
it?)________________________________
