I'm just glad Mr. Luger and Mr. Hagel haven't retracted yet.
If anyone wants to know about mistakes in Iraq turn on the TV. Are
there no-go areas? Are the borders secure? How's security? Any WMD
anywhere?
Incompetence about sums it up. And should anyone try to BS you that
about troop levels, just remember that it's the President that sets
the policy. For example, if the President says, "guard the airport",
and the airport is secure, you don't need more troops; which is the
case in Iraq.
The President isn't saying, "secure Iraq", he's saying "guard the
airport". Thus the no-go areas, beheadings, rocket attacks, and no
requests for more troops.
