I'll probably use Steam. but it's against my better judgment.  ;^)

I'm just disappointed that there's no information about the games up at
steampowered.com.  I assume that CountrStrike: Source is simply
Counterstrike with the Source engine (a better looking Counterstrike),
right?  And that "Half-Life 1: Source" will be the same thing, right?

Also once you actually GET the games online can you then burn a CD (or DVD
or whatever) of the data?

Still - it's not like it's really expensive.  I'll probably do the "Gold"
package with everything.  Then I can hang the poster in my cubicle.  Then I
can get told that "we have a professional atmosphere that must be
maintained".  Then I can take the poster down.

ok so i was going to avoid the steam thing & just pre-order the cd..
but cant wait

guess CS:S is pretty good now.
so i just signed up for steam & purchased HL2 through it.

feels wierd to get all game info online, but will try it out..

any one else using steam or thinking about it?
