I moved SQL7 databases from one server to another.

I was able to restore the backups fine.

But queries claim the tables do not exist. Yet Enterprise Manager shows
the tables are there.

But I can run a query in Query Analyzer and even see the data.

When I try to view the data in the tables in Enterprise Manager I get the
following message:

"The query cannot be executed because some files are either missing or not
registered. Run setup again to make sure the required files are registered.

But running setup requires an uninstall.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

best, paul
