I have to find the quote where a French official said that they would never support an attack against Iraq. The context was that France was getting a nice sized chunk of that oil for food money. The money that was supposed to go to feed Iraqi citizens but instead went to line peoples pockets and buy weapons. How are you going to get international support when it will be blocked unilaterally by money hungry people/groups? There was an attempt to get support and after numerous declarations against Iraq, another one without action was just political masturbation.
