We need noise on the list, it's been to long.

We use MySQL in production on a limited basis. We were all MySQL about a
year ago and we've since decided to standardize on SQL 2000. There's
nothing wrong with MySQL and I think it's great for some small data
stores. It doesn't support elaborate joings, which you say you're not
doing, so it should be fine. We run our MySQL on a Linux box which works
with our win2k web server running cf5.

Everythings peachy.

Subject: MySQL anyone?

anyone using MySQL version running on Windows NT/2k in production
environment? Interested in hearing people's success/failure stories....
Started a test installation and the speed is way better than MS SQL 7
which
I use... just need a speedy bucket... don't utilize dbases for fancy
joins
and such... purely data buckets...

We are connecting our CF 4.0/4.5 environment to MySQL.. looking for that
version or people who ran such prior to 5.0 migration.... all stories
welcome :) feel free to send me email directly to limit noise on the
list...
