It doesn't matter what I think they are - it matters what they think they are. My point has always been that they view themselves as freedom fighters and therefore justify their actions based on the unfair deaths they perceive. Exterminating Palestinian terrorists is numerically impossible regardless of how we label them. > So lets move on and agree that we cannot agree on > Iraq. We don't disagree on the fact that Mr. Hussein was a threat. What we disagree on is the severity of the threat and what the priority of addressing that threat should have been. The Duelfer report confirmed what Mr. Bush's Middle East Adviser, Gen Zinni, had already told him when asked if Iraq was an imminent threat to the US, "No, not at all. It was not an imminent threat. Not even close. Not grave, gathering, imminent, serious, severe, mildly upsetting, none of those." Therefore my opinion is that while Mr. Hussein was a threat, that threat did not warrant the lives and money that invasion required. Further I feel there are other priorities that deserved our undivided attention such as al Queda. You appear to think: 1.a) Mr. Hussein was more dangerous than al Queda and all other threats combined, or 1.b) The US has the resources to pursue both a war in Iraq and to be prepared to address any other threat that may come out way. and 2.) Eliminating Mr. Hussein hasn't created more danger than he himself presented. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Purchase from House of Fusion, a Macromedia Authorized Affiliate and support the CF community. http://www.houseoffusion.com/banners/view.cfm?bannerid=38 Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:5:132618 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:5 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=11502.10531.5 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
