If your goal is to be able to say, "I have a Masters", then it doesn't matter. For example, in most Fortune 500 companies you need a Masters or higher to have fiduciary responsibility. If you have it, then you're eligible for promotion. If you want that degree to reflect quality then you'll need a name brand. One thing to look at is if any well known schools offer "mostly" online degrees. For example, Johns Hopkins offers Masters programs that can be completed mostly online although they require 2 weeks during the summer. If your goal is education then pick the program that is the best muse. That having been said, for online universities I've heard good things about Capella.
