My theory on preemption is:

1.) As a theoretical framework, it's been disproven since it relies on
perfect intelligence which we obviously don't have, and

2.) Mr. Bush will be unable to pursue Preemption since few in the US,
and nobody in the Congress or World will ever give Mr. Bush the
benefit of the doubt again.

Which would mean that Mr. Kerry will have a better chance of success
with his security strategy than Mr. Bush will have with his.

As to who's election will cause more unrest - I think Mr. Bush's
election will enrage that 50% of the US that dislikes him which will
cause protests no matter what Mr. Bush attempts to do.

If Mr. Kerry is elected, I think the revolution will take place within
the Republican party. The true conservatives will kick out the
fiscally irresponsible neo-cons and sever the alliance with the
Christian right. That all sounds great to me.

Any thoughts?
