Just got back - no lines, no fuss, no muss. We're very old fashioned here: paper ballots, study-carols0like enclosures not booths and a purely pen and paper ballot.
It's also easy here since we've got the presidential race and six uncontested lesser races. There isn't much head-scratching to do. My son's kindergarten class did a mock election today. My guess is that the statistical margin of error may be plus or minus 20 votes, but Bush won a close race 11 to 9. America's youth has spoken! And aren't I glad speaking is all they can do! ;^) Jim Davis -----Original Message----- From: Deanna Schneider [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Tuesday, November 02, 2004 12:56 PM To: CF-Community Subject: Re: Just Voted My husband just went and voted - at a pretty "off" time, when I would expect it to be not so busy (10:00-10:30). The wait for him was also 45 minutes. So, if that's any indication, your afterschool wait isn't going to be any better. (Of course, he wont' be missing school.) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Purchase from House of Fusion, a Macromedia Authorized Affiliate and support the CF community. http://www.houseoffusion.com/banners/view.cfm?bannerid=37 Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:5:133718 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:5 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=11502.10531.5 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
