This is an awful day in our history and I predict that 20 years from now when we look in the rearview mirror we will see the Bush years as a turning point in American history.
Bush will continue to ruin our once great nation. He will empty our coffers on unnecessary military pursuits and sullen our image throughout the world. We will be lucky if his antics do not result in outright religious wars. While at home the cost of medical treatment will continue to soar out of control and our rights and civil liberties will be further eroded. A conservative Supreme court will likely over turn Rowe v. Wade, stem cell research will take place overseas but not here, oil prices will continue to soar out of control while Oil companies make record profits. Halliburton and other Bush supporters will continue to increase their wealth at the expense of the American tax payer. I've been voting for 24 years, six elections, five of those presidential votes went for Republicans. Bush is so far off the map I preferred to vote for Kerry. Anyone would have been a better choice. I cannot believe my feelings of despair.
