funny you should mention that... i've done that in the past (years ago...) i put on in the microwave for at least 3 minutes.. when i started to crack it... everything looked fine. when i went to peal the next bit of shell away.. my thumb accidentally poked through the egg into the center... a molten hot brown liquid shot out.. burned my thumb.. singed the side of my temple as it made it's way to the ceiling... leaving a nice stain up there.
