Well having a list of average IQ scores only measures people that take that
test.

My point was that the list was fake, it was taken from a list produced a
number of years ago, it is the same list that went around after the 2000
election.

Computing IQ based on SAT and ACT scores is faulty for many reasons.
Here are a few:

1.) It only measures people that take the test. Further, you could
either have 5 smart people in the state and million of idiots, or the
5 that took it are idiots and the rest are smart.

2.) SATs and ACT weren't required to get into college 20 years ago so
using that measure only checks people about 35 or less.

3.) SATs and ACT can be easily gamed. If not, why study for them?
They test your knowledge on fields of study, not your raw mental
powers of reason.

The only way to judge IQ by state would be to use a polling type
methology to grab a sample and give them an IQ test. I took it a few
times while I was growing up, the last time in college, but I don't
think everybody did. Even if they did, the information is probably
private.

You could try a better but also flawed approach: poll MENSA.

Maybe an even better question is are there certain Myers-Briggs types
that favored one candidate over another? I'm guessing there are.

I'm an ENTP and my wife is an ISTJ - any other of those types out
there that voted for Mr. Bush?
