That's definitely an option, but since I just picked up a new MB as well, it
might not be so cost-effective if I have to purchase a dual PCI-Express mobo
anytime in the near future.

I'm personally going to ride this wave of games out and then buy a big dawg
video card in one of the next two generations (and definitely pick up a
Xbox2 in there somewhere to tide me over.) Then I'll be able to play all the
current and future games that are licensed off of doom 3|unreal 3|source's
engines with all the features and resolutions bumped up...but that also
means I'm going to be missing out on some good shite in the meantime. It's
the external struggle on our generation.

And in case y'all haven't seen it yet, the next unreal engine is incredible:

Oh well heck yeah! There's nothing to beat the price performance of the
6600GT :)

I don't know enough about the X700 to say, but for my money it would be that
6600GT!

You could even go with a Nforce 4 SLI motherboard, and buy two of them and
get the performance of a 6800GT or a bit more for less than 400US. ^_^

I just bought a XFX nVidia 6600 GT with dual DVIs for under $200 (including
shipping.) Which, I hope, is going to be very hard to beat for value and
performance.
