BTW if everyone on your network felt the same way you did, what do you think your bandwidth will be at peak hours? Everyone running this server and that server, DLing music videos and streaming tv shows. Also to be clear... I just said that I was glad certain ports were being closed and that bandwidth wasn't being wasted. I do feel that there is a huge problem with the way ISPs have been marketing their "Unlmited Access VS Unlimited Bandwith." I don't think the average users should be capped. And I'm particularly unhappy when my bandwidth is below the advertised level for 5 days in a row. If we go back to the start, I said the kids that DL music and movies non-stop should be throttled. I had no idea cable modems were capped. I don't work for the cable companies and I'm not advocating capping the modems. I'm just pointing out some the flaws in the arguements I've heard. -- 2004 - The year $184M couldn't buy a pennant. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Special thanks to the CF Community Suite Gold Sponsor - CFHosting.net http://www.cfhosting.net Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:5:135679 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:5 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.5 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
