Bah. That's only true if by "blew it" you just mean "didn't win". Based on the 3% margin of difference, Kerry was a good candidate. The country just happens to be more pro-war and more religious-right right now. But it was a tight race by anyone's measure and as I read it, it shows that Kerry was appealing enough to the undecided some of the right to get so close. The Dems really would have blown it, IMO, if they'd picked a more solidly left candidate like Dean. It would have been a more interesting race in many ways, but more polarized and probably more futile. I still think that Kerry was the most viable choice, not my personal preference over all, but certainly most viable. -Kevin ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Special thanks to the CF Community Suite Gold Sponsor - CFHosting.net http://www.cfhosting.net Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:5:135761 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:5 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.5 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
