I have them (IV, V, VI) on 12-inch Laser Disc.
Video quality is great, but the audio is not as good as DVD.

I've held off on buying Episode 1 on DVD because Lucas is famous for putting
out new versions every year or so. So if I buy it now, next year they will
release it again with, oh I don't know, behind the scenes look at Episode 2
or 3. I would buy the original trilogy on DVD though because I have been
waiting so damn long.

The force "may" be with us - contacted my local independent DVD pusher, who
seems well informed on what/when.

Asked if he had any info or rumors on when Star Wars IV (ANH), V (TESB) and
VI (ROTJ) might be released on DVD, and he says he's heard rumors of
December 2002.
