I still think you are wrong about the major parties. I will never run for office as a Republican or Democrat. Both parties are corrupt and I will never sully my principles by identifying myself as one.
I might run as a Bull Moose (of Teddy Roosevelt fame). If you really wanted to make a difference here's what you'd do: get involved with a major party candidate or run as one yourself. Once your choice was elected you'd move forward with election reform: 1.) Instant run off secondary, primary, and general elections. 2.) Federally funded elections for the top 5 secondary and top 3 primary candidates. 3.) All policital ads must be accompanied by a fact check from an independent analysis group. Once these laws were in place you'd switch parties. If you're not willing to do what it takes to actually change things, then you're just saying things for your emotional benefit. You can't change the system from the outside; if you really want the apples go to the tree. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Special thanks to the CF Community Suite Gold Sponsor - CFHosting.net http://www.cfhosting.net Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:5:136132 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:5 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=11502.10531.5 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
