I'm ok with the idea as long as personal responsibility/consequences go way way 
up for injury to others cause while under the influence, this included "drunk 
driving".  

If you choose to get high with the drug of you choice, that's fine with me.  
But if you cause an accident, because you're too high to realize that you 
shouldn't be driving and kill my wife and kids, then your problem has just 
become my problem.  And I do not think justice is going to be done just because 
you get a few years of incarnation, that will probable be reduced to almost 
nothing because of over crowding and you aren't a "violent" criminal.
Especially, since there is a fair chance you have been pulled over before and 
received a few slaps on the wrist such as having your license suspended.
