Not this one is particular, but there are a lot of these IE wrappers out
there (they use the IE COM component as the basis for the browser).  They're
a good alternative if you're not willing to give up IE for some reason but
still want some modern extras (like tabs) or want extra security features
(like pop-up blocking) and can't use XPSP2.

My favorite (so far) is AvantBrowser (at avantbrowser.com coincidentally).
I really appreciate a clean interface and Avant has a good one (many of the
wrappers have horrendous interfaces).

The new version Avant now does RSS as well and is updated often.

My only real problem with a lot of these is that some apps (namely advanced
MS apps like Virtual Server Manager) won't work in a different shell so you
may have to deal with that, but overall it's a small price to pay.
