Ya know, when my friend with CP and a near-genius IQ is talking, and it's taking him quite awhile to get his words in order so as to get his point across, we somehow resist the urge to shout "please sit down, before you fall down".
The ability to speak eloquently is a fabulous talent, especially if you are a politican...just ask Bill Clinton. It got him elected and re-elected. An eloquent speaker may have a better chance of getting his or her message across to his/her listeners, but the speakers' eloquence has no bearing on the actual SUBSTANCE of what they are saying. Perhaps > at one point in time he was a viable leader -- how can you lead when > you can't open your mouth without someone saying "please, sit down > before you fall down". And that's a social issue that's even > irrespective of the author's suggestion that he's suffering from > "pre-senile dementia" (assuming the term actually means something > other than "he's old"). > ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Special thanks to the CF Community Suite Silver Sponsor - CFDynamics http://www.cfdynamics.com Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:5:138418 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:5 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=11502.10531.5 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
