I have no problem with teaching. But not when you're forcing ideology
into areas where it doesn't belong, like in the sciences, medicine and
 engineering. The evidence that there is a push by this administration
and other neo-cons to do so is more than ample.

But what Horowitz is doing is exactly what was done to suppress
dissent elsewhere. Read up on how the Nazi Youth harrased jewish or
leftist professors in the 1930's. Horowitz is trying the same thing.

Where did that come in? I can suggest some professions who do reading
comprehension assessment. It may be necessary?

To simply spell it out, I was referring to how the Bush administration
is using a certain ideology as a litmus test for membership on NIH and
similar scientific advisory committees.

That is exactly what Lysenko did in Stalinist Russia.
