Actually if that's the way you feel you should have gone with the Gold
package. You get all the old games, the FULL strat guide, a hat and a
handful of other stuff for slightly more than the anemic boxed "Collector's
Edition".

I've just started the chapter "Entanglement" and I have to say that the
strat guide has been mildly useful, but nothing like essential. It's
EXTREMELY detailed (over 300 pages), but is just a walkthrough. I like a
strat guide that offers some extra information, maybe some art, and
generally some cool extra stuff.

The only extras here are ONE page of "G-man" sightings (and they they didn't
even get them all) and ONE page of cheats.

No backstory discussion, no developer insight, no nothing. There's not even
much art - there are two or three images of Gordon used OVER and OVER and
OVER, sometimes cropped, sometimes not.

Any body get the Brady Games guide to Final-Fantasy X-2? Now that was a
guide! Complete with a coffee table art book and full pages of all the
dress-speheres.

In general I like Brady guides better than Prima anyway.
