Science as fact does not deny God. It is completely neutral on the subject.

There is no reason that science should say "There may or may not be a God" when 
discussing evolution, just as there is no reason when discussing gravity or 
color refraction or sound-velocity profiles.

Science should say "There may or may not be a God" when discussing the proof 
for the existence of God, but since most religions rely on "faith", that 
question seldom gets asked.
