That's really interesting.

I'd say that Americans would generally accept that they are very similar, 
personally, to Canadians. Its more of an incredible feeling of pride to be 
an American, to live in this country, as opposed to a strong feeling AGAINST 
any other nationality.

We are more interested in being American, than being unique...if that makes 
any sense.
