You need to take your creative reward from the piece itself, not from the 
reactions to the piece from the clients.

You can take your "professional" reward from how well you can balance your 
vision and the wants/needs of the client.

But in the end, you should judge your work on how well it met the needs of the 
project. Did it do what it was intended to do?

Both designs are very nice, but I like the white borders personally.
